Officially called the "Manila American Cemetery and Memorial"

 

There are 17,206 military dead in the cemetery at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.

In front are 2 hemicycles containing 24 pairs of fin walls. Upon the faces are inscribed the names
and particulars of 36,279 of the missing (below the missing are grouped by their military branches)

United States Army and Army Air Forces* : 16,913
United States Navy : 17,582
United States Marine Corps : 1,726
United States Coast Guard : 58

* Note: During World War II the Air Forces still formed part of the United States Army.
