Found a GOODYEAR tire repair shop, Yeh!! ...but we ended up needing 2 use our own patches, they had none!

The flat put us off schedule. The Road Rats M/C (Loaog, Ilocos Norte) found us and scored a local hotel for us!

In many of the distant areas we travel to the locals don't get to see many foreigners, so when they do they come out in masses. Later this same day we stopped for gas (not shown) and over 70 locals gathered around to check us out! But it's always debatable what the real attraction is ...a bunch of white guys on loud Harleys rolling in town, or the cute little group of 'young' backriders that are always accompanying us!

Restrooms are not always easy to come by, so sometimes you have to improvise...

You can meet the nicest people at a McDonald's. See the dude in the back with the cigarettes in his nose! (from Toronto?)

A stop at the Callo Caves in Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

Cagayan Valley, Isabela.

Check out this Filipino Wide Glide Trike.

Another day at the rock quarry. This is how we load the truck...one shovel at a time!

Lunch at a Greenwich in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya

Dalton Pass, Nueva Ecija

This is how they repair a flat...commonly know as Vulcanizing. This is done by putting a chuck of rubber over the hole and then melting it into the tube! Note the upside down piston with the fire inside it, this is how they heat & melt the chuck of rubber into the tube. By the way, this repair job didn't work... it ended up tearing the tube. In the end we had to load the bike on a truck and send it home.
